CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS TOY STORE Contact Sandy Zwicker
Each December, we offer a free toy shop, with gift wrap, holiday treats, and pictures with Santa. Many of our military families live on the border of the poverty level, so the gifts are a huge help. Please email Sandy by clicking her name above if you have new toy donations. We collect year round.
COFFEE & CHAT Contact Janie Gore
Our volunteers offer a welcome time of love and acceptance, especially for spouses of deployed soldiers. In addition to providing coffee, we sponsor activities, crafts and raffle prizes for both women and their children.
SEWING & CRAFTING Contact Ruth Gardner
This team sews, quilts, and helps create a variety of handmade items for Baby Moses Baskets, including blankets, bibs, burp cloths, booties, stuffed toys and caps. Material donations are welcome.
CROCHET TEAM Contact Leslie Mills
This group gathers every other week to crochet caps for Marines/Sailors and blankets, booties, caps & sweaters for our Baby Moses Baskets. No experience necessary!
PRAYER CHAIN Contact Jack & Shirley Andrews
An email is distributed to those who would like to pray for our adopted troops and their families.
Storage is imperative for our ministry's existence. Organization and funding are key to our storage needs.
TREASURER Contact Marilyn Garvin
All monetary donation are tax deductible and will help us continue these programs. Please make your check payable to Saddleback Church. Thank you, and God Bless!
CARE PACKAGES Contact Kim McCune
Every other month we prepare care packages, including letters of appreciation, and ship them to our deployed troops. For many, this is the only encouragement from “home” that they will receive.
PRE-DEPLOYMENT & WELCOME HOME EVENTS
Contact Diane Reece re:events on base & our church campusWe often serve a hot meal on U.S. soil before a troop's departure. An assortment of free items are offered at our gift table, including Christian resources, and each deploying serviceman or woman receives a travel snack bag as they commence their long trip. We also support their families
as they send their loved ones off or anxiously await their return. For returning single Marines, we decorate and prepare their barracks with greetings, fresh towels, toiletries & baked goods.
BAKED GOODS Contact Dee Hall
Those who have a passion for baking provide their creations for many of our events and activities. Homemade goodies always bring smiles to the faces our service men and women!
BABY MOSES BASKETS Contact Sandy Zwicker
Because many families are displaced from relatives during this important time of life, this special welcome gift provides variety of newborn items, including handmade blankets and other items.
DONATIONS Contact Ken Woods
We are always accepting donations of new items, gift cards, and food for our events & programs. If you have any leads from community businesses, please email by clicking on Ken's name above and he will get in touch!
